ACCOMMODATION BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICIES

Accommodation reservation is a service that offers My Room (Room House Group Alojamientos S.L) to those Users who want to reserve a room in advance (for these purposes, hereinafter it will be called "Hosting User". 

"Booking Deposit" refers to the amount charged by the My Room company to the accommodation user, setting the amount of this concept in a month's rent according to the rate of the chosen room. 

"Sevice commission (fee)" refers to the amount applied by the My Room company to the accommodation user, setting the amount of this concept at € 40 per reservation and room. 

"Cancellation Penalty" refers to the amount applied by the My Room company applied to the accommodation user who undertakes to pay the fixed amount of this concept, detailed as appropriate the type of reservation cancellation and whenever he fails to comply with the terms and conditions related in the forms below indicated

The Accommodation User who wishes to use this service and wants to reserve a room or more must pay in advance the "Reservation Deposit" corresponding to the amount of a first month's rent that will be according to the rate corresponding to the chosen room plus the amount of the "Sevice commission"

The accommodation user will be informed of All of the above prior to hiring, expressly indicated on the Myroommate.es website in the published advertisement, authorizing My Room to charge said rates before accepting the Reservation Request.

Once the reservation is accepted and the payment has been made by the Accommodation User, the User may request the cancellation of an ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION, if so, they wish to do so by e-mail: bookings@myroommate.es. 

The refund of the money will depend on the following conditions: 

  • In the event that the reservation made is canceled by the accommodation user when there are 60 days or more before the start date, My Room will reimburse the total amount paid less the service commission.

** (Our transparency policy makes us comply with what is offered, that is why we strive so that the reserved accommodation is as it is seen on our website and is equal or better than what the user expects to find it. For this once For the user to arrive at the accommodation, they must check at the time of check-in that everything is fine and that it matches what we offer on the myroommate.es website, if this is not the case or an overbooking (unavailability of the accommodation) arises on our part My Room will help the User to find another place to live by offering other accommodation that we have published and available, provided that the characteristics are similar or similar to the one originally chosen by the Accommodation User.)

  • If the above circumstances occur, and only in the event that the new accommodation offered to the user does not meet the characteristics indicated in the previous paragraph, My Room will reimburse the entire payment made less the service commission.
  • In the event that the reservation made is canceled by the accommodation user when there are 45 days or less remaining, and 31 days or more, before the Start Date, My Room will retain 50% of the payment made, as a Penalty for Cancellation and refund 50% of the total amount paid less the service commission.
  • In the event that the reservation made is canceled by the accommodation user when there are 30 days or less before the start date, My Room will retain and apply the charge of 100% of the payment made as Cancellation Penalty.
